Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort - Crymych

Castell Henllys is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and one of many
prehistoric promontory forts in the National Park dating to around
600BC. What makes this site particularly important is that
archaeologists have been excavating here for nearly twenty years and
thatched Iron Age buildings have been reconstructed on their original
foundations. As a resource for understanding the Iron Age, Castell
Henllys is second to none, providing a unique combination of Scheduled
Ancient Monument, archaeological excavation and experimental
archaeology.

Cadw is a Welsh word which means 'to keep'. Cadw's mission is to
protect, conserve, and to promote an appreciation of the built heritage
of Wales. The full title of the organization is Cadw: Welsh Historic
Monuments Executive Agency, and it is a part of the National Assembly
for Wales. Created in 1984, Cadw carries out the complete range of
responsibilities for the conservation, presentation, and promotion of
the built heritage of Wales on behalf of the National Assembly for
Wales.

Internal Fire is a museum that covers the history of power in industry
over the last 100 years. It aims to display all equipment in a running
state and in some cases driving the original machinery. The museum will
be in a permanent state of change as new exhibits arrive over the next
few years.
Pembrokeshire Coast National Park

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is one of the smallest National
Parks in England and Wales. The Park is predominantly coastal, and
includes several offshore islands, the largest of which are Skomer,
Skokholm, Ramsey, Grasholm and Caldey. These are internationally
important for their seabird and seal populations. The Coastline is
amongst the most beautiful in Europe, varying from high cliffs to long
open beaches, and sheltered coves and harbours to mud flats and dunes.

The National Botanic Garden of Wales, at Llanarthne in Carmarthenshire,
is dedicated to science, education and leisure, with the broad study of
plants and sustainable solutions at its heart. The Great Glasshouse, is
a futuristic landmark building and one of the largest single span
glasshouses in the world. It is dedicated to the threatened
Mediterranean climates of the world - the Mediterranean basin, South
Africa, south west Australia, parts of Chile and California and its
interior design includes a ravine, rock faces, waterwalls and bridges.
